Oxnard Family Circle Adult Day Health Care program is designed to help Veterans whom require assistance in the maintenance of their health; to either improve or maintain the functional abilities and/or Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s).

Honoring Veterans for their service; especially defending freedom in the United States and around the world.

Veterans Health Care Services

Ventura County is home to many Veterans; and Veterans health care services are available. Oxnard Family Circle Adult Day Health Care Center (ADHC) is a significant community-based adult day health care program that offers many services for Veterans.

We have a specialized Veterans room, exclusively for them. At our center we provide group outings, support groups, special guest speakers, and socialization with retired military personnel. We have representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs on the premises and we work closely with the Oxnard Veteran Clinic and the Veteran Service Office for the County of Ventura.

Who Pays The Bill?

Services are covered for:

Qualified Veterans (service or non-service connected), Medi-Cal, Gold Coast Health Plan, Tri-Counties Regional Center Beneficiaries, Long-Term Care Insurance, Private Pay.

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

handsSenior citizens who are in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or are suffering from other dementia-related problems can take advantage of the Alzheimer’s and dementia care services we offer. These programs involve repetitive schedules, social interaction and are performed in a safe environment. Our primary goal is to help those suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia, improve their quality of life and general well-being.

Healthy Aging, Exercise & Nutrition

nutrition-heartWe promote an active and healthy lifestyle by offering exercises and nutritional counseling. We provide daily floor exercise programs, strength training and other activities to improve the physical condition of senior citizens. We also offer consultation with qualified dietitians and food planning services. Those who have suffered from a heart attack or are diabetic can benefit from our nutritional counseling services.

Physical and Occupational Therapy

Physical and Occupational TherapyThe path to aging well involves physical and occupational therapy for many senior citizens. Our elderly care services offer therapy for restoring individuals back to their full potential and to help educate and train for new skills for performing daily tasks.
