    Respite for Caregivers

Care giving is a fulfilling choice to make; and yes, it is a choice. Caregivers should be proud of their decision to take responsibility for another individual’s life and well-being. However, caregivers also have another life to attend to: their own.

Sacrifices can and will be made to ensure that their loved one is receiving the best care, but a person should never let their quality of life suffer in attempts to make another person’s life better. If a person is not content with their place in life, it will be very difficult for them to make another person content, even if they have all the best intentions to do so. Respite for caregivers in Ventura County is a necessary aspect of proper care giving, as well as partnership. Many caregivers feel that they are alone on their endeavors to maintain proper care for their loved ones, and this is a mentality that has to stop.

    Dementia Care and Respite.

Oxnard Family Circle understands the need for respite care and is proud to be an option for families when they are looking for care for their loved one. Many times one may  think that their options are limited to institutionalized care, but we are hoping to change that belief. With Oxnard Family Circle Adult Day Health Care you can see  how much care and attention we put in making sure your loved one’s needs are met.
