How much does in-home care cost?
The average cost of in-home care in California is $36.00 an hour. Most in-home care requires a minimum of three to four hours per visit and are not covered by Medicare long-term. Full in-home care (8-hour care) can cost up to 260 dollars per day. Rates may vary depending on the amount of services needed within the home.
For a full year (250 work days) it costs roughly 40,000 dollars for in-home care and 75,000 – 80,000 dollars per year for nursing homes with medical staff available.
What senior care services are provided with Adult Day Health Care?
Oxnard Family Circle provides a senior companion program, two hot dietary meals per day, special diet and/or food preparation, grooming, showering, toileting, and feeding assistance, assistance with moving, administration of medication, diabetes and pain management, dietician consulting, massage therapy, speech therapy, physical and occupational therapy, veterans services, socialization opportunities, counseling and group therapy, transportation to and from the center, podiatry services, licensed nurses and clinical social workers, and following treatment plans appointed by physicians. Group outings, special events and activities are also planned regularly.
How much does adult day health care cost?
Adult Day Health Care is covered for qualifies participants by Department Of Veterans Affairs, Medi-Cal/GCHP, Long Term Care Insurances, Tri-Counties Regional Center.
If you do not have insurance coverage, then you may pay privately for care.
Oxnard Family Circle Private Pay Rate starts at $86.00 per day. This cost includes providing many unique senior care services that are not available by in-home care. This low cost includes daily supervision, meals, assistance with personal care needs, monitoring and medication administration by licensed nursing personnel, exercise and memory programming, fun activities, and outings.
Bathing assistance is available for an additional fee.
