Veterans Field Trip
First try-out of the Veterans Field Trip since the start of pandemic. As the weather became warmer, eight of the fully vaccinated Veterans Program participants of Oxnard Family Circle met at the park for a Social Work support group. That was one of the most memorable and emotional moments for Oxnard Family Circle staff to watch the Veterans reuniting after a year of isolation.
The Vaccination of the employees at Oxnard Family Circle is a great success! Most of the employees are vaccinated and are looking forward to receiving guidance and regulations from the Department of Aging on safe return to in-center services!
Amazing gift to our participant from the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging – the robotic animals program for individuals with Dementia! The words can’t explain the joy our participants expressed when they received their animals.
