Oxnard Family Circle Adult Day Health Care program is designed to help Veterans who require assistance in the maintenance of their health; to either improve or maintain the functional abilities and/or Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Ventura County is home to many Veterans, and Veterans’ health care services are available. Oxnard Family Circle Adult Day Health Care Center (ADHC) is a significant community-based adult day health care program that offers many services for Veterans.
Oxnard Family Circle is licensed with the state and has a VA contract unique to all other Adult Day Health Care Centers in Ventura County.
We are recognized as the ADHC with the largest number of veterans utilizing the ADHC services. Oxnard Family Circle can provide complete comprehensive care with a medical component that can quickly address any medical need that may come up.
In addition, we also provide entertainment, socialization with their peers, and therapeutic activities to promote memory and help delay cognitive loss. We provide transportation for local doctors’ appointments and to and from the center.
We have a specialized Veterans’ room, exclusively for them. At our center, we provide group outings, support groups, special guest speakers, and socialization with retired military personnel. We have representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs on the premises and we work closely with the Oxnard Veteran Clinic and the Veteran Service Office for the County of Ventura.

Oxnard Family Circle provides a combination of social activities and health services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, assistance with daily living activities, help with medical equipment, medication administration, and health monitoring. The adult day health center is staffed with licensed medical professionals.
In addition to therapeutic activities and health monitoring, the center provides meals and snacks. Transportation services are also available.

Oxnard Family Circle officially opened its doors in July of 2002. Since then, Oxnard Family Circle Adult Day Health Care Center has been striving to be the best provider of Adult Day Healthcare. We treat all patients with a caring attitude and phenomenal service.

Oxnard Family Circle’s adult day health center is a place where seniors can go during the day to socialize, participate in recreational activities, and receive services tailored to their specific needs. Applicants are usually evaluated before being admitted to ensure the center can provide the help they need. Oxnard Family Circle’s center is open Monday through Friday during regular business hours. The facility also provides services some evenings and weekends.
Cost of Services
There are several factors that influence the cost per day at Oxnard Family Circle’s adult day health center, including the services provided. Private pay rates are reasonable.
The center also accepts Medicaid/Medi-Cal coverage and VA benefits, including the Aid & Attendance pension.

What Hours Are You Open and When Are You Closed?
Our program hours run typically from 8-2 pm with accommodations to those times as needed Monday through Friday. We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Fourth of July, and New Year’s Day.
