Since the beginning of 2021, COVID-19 cases and deaths statewide in California have been decreasing, and the numbers of vaccinations administered to eligible individuals, including ADHC/CBAS participants and staff, are increasing. Given these positive signs, state and managed care partners have been planning for the gradual lifting of restrictions on in-center services targeting a return to ADHC/CBAS congregate center services.
As part of the Community Based Adult Service program, Oxnard Family Circle ADHC is preparing for a phased return to congregate services. We re-arranged our sitting areas to be prepared to receive the first wave of attendees daily with all pandemic-related restrictions still in place. As per the CA Department of Public Health, the 6-feet social distancing and mask-wearing are mandatory for all public places, and thus it would be necessary at our center. Although even during pre-pandemic times, we had the highest sanitary and cleaning standards, nowadays, we are taking additional measures to mitigate the threat of airborne/on-surface bacteria and viruses.
Please rest assured that we go above and beyond to keep everyone safe.
We would love to hear from you. Please reach out to us with your questions, suggestions, and comments.
